The Site provides astronomical information for general interest and education. We work hard to make it accurate, and the methods are described on the About page, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is correct or current. Moonrise and moonset times in particular depend on your exact position, altitude and horizon. Do not rely on the Site for navigation, aviation, maritime, safety-critical, legal, religious-calendar or medical purposes. Gardening-by-the-moon and full moon lore are presented as tradition, not science.
2. Permitted use
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and may link to any page. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not copy, scrape, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the Site, its data or its articles, or use automated tools to extract data at scale, without our written permission. Contact us if you would like to license data or content.

The text, design, code, graphics and compiled data on the Site are owned by Night Sky Today or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. Photographs are licensed from stock providers and may not be reused. Trademarks and names belong to their owners.
